ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP
Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF) are essentially congregations within a congregation. In our world of overcrowded schedules and superficial relationships, ABFs provide opportunities of fellowship, care, and growth with people in similar stages of life.
IN AN ABF, YOU CAN:
ABFs typically meet on Sunday mornings or Sunday evening. Check the current ABFs offered below and visit soon! Children's Classes are available during all these times.
9:30 am Sunday Mornings
"Men's Fellowship" is studying the "Experiencing God" by Henry Blackaby. Men, helping other men to become more like Jesus. This small group atmosphere emphasizes fellowship, a Christian world view, and encouragement to live godly in spite of the ungodly world around us. Led by Marty Middleton and meets in Room #105.
"Women's Fellowship" are enjoying a study on the life of Moses - "Walking with Moses/Talking with God" by Cinda King. This ABF purposes to equip and encourage women in their walk with Lord and in fellowship with one another. This is accomplished through large group Bible teaching, small group interaction and prayer, and quarterly activities. Sheryl Brunner and Carla Poling co-lead and meet in Room 107.
"Prime Timers" are growing through a Bible-based series called "Thriving in Stressful Times." This outreach oriented ABF is always looking for more prime timers to get plugged in and join their community. They enjoy fellowship, prayer and Biblical teaching from Pastor George Curry and meet in the Fireside Room.
"Cords of Three" are doing the Truth Project Series. This ABF provides opportunity for young and not so young couples to enjoy fellowship while focusing on God's Word, it's application to our lives and discerning God's will. Leadership provided by Mike Portwood and located in Room 214.
"BOB - Band of Believers" & Oasis (18 and older young adults) are currently meeting together to study "New Testament Relationships." While this group is large enough to accommdoate various types of people, interests, and learning styles, we are still small enough to be personal with smaller subgroup interaction. This group is led by Rick Copeland and meets in Room 212.
11:00 am Sunday Mornings
"Life in the Middle" is also working through the Truth Project Series. Life in the middle can be difficult at times ... however, making the choice to be surrounded by a caring and encouraging community will make a world of difference in how you run the race of life ... Heb. 12:1-2. Dave O'Dell and Marty Thayer co-lead and meet in Room 212.
"The Overcomers" are studying Colossians and Philemon . Each weeks begins with prayer, followed by Bible study with an open forum for questions. Taught by Jim Polinski and located in Room 103.
5:45 pm Sunday Evenings (follows AWANA schedule)
"60 Minutes" is currently studying the book of Nehemiah. This ABF is taught by John Zabel and meets in the Fireside room
