ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIP

Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF) are essentially congregations within a congregation. In our world of overcrowded schedules and superficial relationships, ABFs provide opportunities of fellowship, care, and growth with people in similar stages of life.

IN AN ABF, YOU CAN:

ABFs typically meet on Sunday mornings or Sunday evening.  Check the current ABFs offered below and visit soon!  Children's Classes are available during all these times.

9:30 am Sunday Mornings

"Men's Fellowship" is working through a study on Old Testament Kings.   Men, helping other men to become more like Jesus.  This small group atmosphere emphasizes fellowship, a Christian world view, and encouragement to live godly in spite of the ungodly world around us.  Led by Marty Middleton and meets in Room #105.

"Women's Fellowship" is studying "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn.   This ABF purposes to equip and encourage women in their walk with Lord and in fellowship with one another.  This is accomplished through large group Bible teaching, small group interaction and prayer, and quarterly activities.  Sheryl Brunner, Nancy Shawl & Deb Stalder lead and meet in Room 107.

"Prime Timers" are studying the book of Acts.  This outreach oriented ABF is always looking for more prime timers to get plugged in and join their community.  They enjoy fellowship, prayer and Biblical teaching from Pastor George Curry and meet in the Fireside Room.

"Cords of Three" will resume meeting June 13, 2010. This ABF provides opportunity for young and not so young couples to enjoy fellowship while focusing on God's Word, it's application to our lives and discerning God's will.  Leadership provided by Mike Portwood and located in Room 214.

"BOB - Band of Believers"  is currently working through "Blueprint for Spiritual Maturity."   While this group is large enough to accommodate various types of people, interests, and learning styles, we are still small enough to be personal with smaller subgroup interaction.  This group is led by Rick Copeland and meets in Room 212.

11:00 am Sunday Mornings

"Life in the Middle" will enjoy the teaching of Larry Simcox (licensed counselor) on the subject of "Thinking Right, Feeling Better" during the months of June and July.   Life in the middle can be difficult at times ... however, making the choice to be surrounded by a caring and encouraging community will make a world of difference in how you run the race of life ... Heb. 12:1-2.  Marty Thayer is the leader and meets in Room 212.

"The Overcomers" are studying Philippians.  Each weeks begins with prayer, followed by Bible study with an open forum for questions.  Taught by Jim Polinski and located in Room 103.

"Young Marrieds" are studying Romans.  This newer group meets for fellowship, Bible study and prayer in Room 107 and is led by Dave Hornik.

5:45 pm Sunday Evenings (follows AWANA schedule)

"60 Minutes" is currently on summer break.
