Harvest Small Groups

...exist for people to experience a transformational relationship with Jesus Christ by engaging in fellowship to pray, encourage, exhort, and learn from God's Word and one another.

Why a small group?

Jesus' call to follow him is an invitation to a whole new way of life, and we need others to truly be a disciple of Jesus. Small groups are not just about simple community; they are places which to build authentic disciples of Jesus in the context of community. That is exactly what Jesus intends for us. If you want to know Jesus more and live for him with your whole life, then a Small Group is the place for you.

When do groups meet?

Most groups meet weekly or every other week on Tuesday or Thursday evenings between 6:30-8:30 pm. However we still have quite a few other groups meeting almost every day of the week! If your availability is limited, but you would like to sign up, please attach a detailed note describing your availability and we will do our best to get you connected.

What do groups do?

Groups engage in the Word through Bible-based study, while sharing and caring for one another through a supportive community, and inviting others to be a part of the ministry. Most groups use a three-part format which includes sharing, study, and prayer together. Some groups do additional activities such as mission service, dinners, and get-togethers outside of their normal meeting times.

Is there a commitment?

Groups meet weekly or bi-weekly during mid-September to mid-May. The time commitment is not large, but we do hope you will stay with your group for at least a year. There are, however, easy ways to move out of your group should you feel the need to do so.

When can I join a group?

Click here and fill out the form or pick up a brochure at the information center and fill out the back panel and turn it in to the church office or drop it in the offering plate. Our goal is to get you connected to a group as quickly as possible. Due to scheduling and leader availability, it may take a period of time to start your group. We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed while the process develops.
