Support Ministries

Celebrate Recovery is an opportunity for fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power for the hurts, habits, and hang-ups in our lives
through the “8 Recovery Principles.” This experience allows us
to be changed by working and applying these Biblical principles. Celebrate
Recovery is a support
group for people struggling, with food issues, anxiety, perfectionism, anger,
depression, substance abuse, marital issues…
NEW! Women's Group will provide support to women who struggle with food issues. Ladies, do you turn to food for comfort -- have you tried various diet programs, exercising and many other ways to try to control our eating habits, but found you have failed time and time again? If you've tried everything else and it hasn't worked -- join us as we seek God's healing for our struggles with food.
Whether you are struggling
or have found healing, join us for a time of fellowship, worship, and prayer
every Friday night at 7pm. For more information, call Lynn Schilling at 630-FREEDOM. Celebrate Recovery is a national ministry, to find out more about Celebrate Recovery, click here.
Divorce Recovery
This 8-week program taught by Pastor George Curry with small groups led by those who have walked down the road of divorce focuses on Biblical healing from the hurt and trauma of divorce. This is for those who have been through or are in the process of divorce. This seminar is held semi-anuually in the spring and the fall.
Food
Pantry
Welcome to the Harvest Baptist Church Food Pantry. We are committed
to providing food and related products to families who are temporarily
or permanently disadvantaged due to layoff, loss of job, physical disability,
medical emergency, separation, or any other situation that results in
a loss of income.
This food is distributed free of charge. Under no circumstance
can this food be sold, traded, or bartered for other products or services.
We
at Harvest believe this is just another way we can show the love of our Savior
in a tangible manner. We thank the Lord for this provision of food, and praise
Him for His abundant care.
